Our perspective and God's perspecive
When ever you see a old, abandoned house, we think "Ugh! Look at that house! It looks terrible! Who would ever want to live in there?" Most people wouldn't ,but if your a carpenter, or someone who remodels houses, you may think, " Imagine how beautiful that house could be!!" . That's how it is with God. When we look at something or someone, we think something about that person or thing. It could be bad or good. If we look at a cygnet, (baby swan) it's not a very pretty bird. When it grows up, it's beautiful! Think of what God sees in a person, He doesn't look at the outside, He looks at their heart. We don't know their heart. We can only see the outside. When you see someone who in your opinion, isn't very attractive, you base how you treat them by the way they look, but when you get to know them you don't really pay attention to their looks, because you know that their heart is kind. However, if they aren't kind, they may be hurt, or having problems in their home. So sharing God's love may open their eyes to the love He has for them. I was listening to a song and it gave me the idea to write about perspective some of the lyrics were " I see a wasteland ,you see a garden. I see dry bones and you see an army. I see my sin and you see the blood." It was pretty much explaining about how God's perspective is completely different than ours is. So when you see something that doesn't look beautiful ask God how he sees it.
